Please Rob Me!
18th February 2010..
Foursquare is the latest wacky internet craze whereby a person voluntarily provides information on their whereabouts and posts it on the web – twitter style. Some dutch web developers saw that people were exposing themselves and their houses to potential burglars when they inform the world that they have left their home. They devised this site, called pleaserobme.com, which conveniently provides all the results of when people are out of their houses, with their full address! The purpose is to highlight the dangers that giving out too much information can expose yourself to unwanted risk. The site will be up only temporarily so check it out below.
