The Swalec Stadium asked us to design and launch a website to further promote their conference and banqueting facilities.
Our approach compliments the new new look that we created for their other communications, and sets them up well to promote packages for The Ashes series later this year.
On my way into work this fine snow covered winter morn, (one that hasn’t occurred in the capital let alone the country for 18 years) having just about made it in, via the incredible British rail service (that for some reason crumbles to its knees may it be ice, snow, leaves or dust on the tracks). Due to the fact that the underground had also pretty much decided to snuggle under the duvet like most of the London working public, I had to walk from Waterloo to get to get into work. Upon this delightful walk through the deserted streets that looked as though they had been sieved from a great height with icing sugar, I had to pass the Nelson Mandela bust and I just had to take a picture. It dawned on me that ‘had Nelson ever seen snow let alone had his face half covered in it making him look somewhat like a mexican wrestler?’.
Underscore is delighted to be developing the brand strategy and campaign planning for two major international Polo events this summer.
London Polo will be an exclusive “invitation only” two day arena event at Horse Guards Parade in June and the British Beach Polo Championships will be held for only the second time on Sandbanks beach in Poole, in July.
A series of fake euro notes have been created in the Ukraine depicting scantily clad ladies of the night in an attempt to deter women from the former Soviet state seeking work illegally in the EU. The fake notes also feature warning messages about the ‘real price of seeking black market employment abroad’.
We love this. 4th Estate Publishing has created a fantastic 3 minute stop-motion animation made by stitching together individual photos into one fluid video.
They needed to set up and shoot approximately 2,700 separate photographs from 1,000 books to make the three minute film….now THAT is dedication!!!
