First Steps Identity

The brief
Boris Johnson's Housing Options service created First Steps to help people looking to establish a foothold on the London property ladder.
The thinking
The branding and key messages needed to be simple, inclusive and appeal to the whole of London and its diverse audiences, and so we started by creating a simple identity which combined housing with progression and could easily be understood within all marketing materials and their social media presence.
We established the First Steps brand through clear colour, image and message guides which even covered bespoke wallpaper made from their new identity. From there we designed all of the elements for the 2011 Affordable Homes Show which achieved some great results and saw a 10% increase in attendees from the previous year.
