The brief

The German Embassy in London needed an engaging and memorable marketing campaign to encourage more people in the UK to study the German language. Our solution was "think German - you already speak it"

The thinking

Working under the Goethe Institut inspired "Think German" brand, our solution was to focus on the many German words that English speakers may already be familiar with: like ‘wunderkind’, ‘doppelganger’ and ‘wanderlust’ to create a campaign theme of:

"think German - you already speak it".
Our simple contrast of amusing 'German inspired' black and white images with big bold keywords was spread across a range of media with a continuous call to visit the Think German website in order to win prizes and find out more about their language study programs. From here we supported a series of themed events to secure further interest to help promote our concept and secure buy-in.
