For me this puts the science back into design or the design back into science.
This has been one of the cleverest things in categorising and showing information since Rick Banks’s ‘Type Trumps’.
Im a huge typographic fan and love every aspect of it, so the fact that someone has taken the time to research and gather different information and characteristics of each and every single typeface, and create a well constructed and easy to use info-graph makes me happy.
The simplistic and recognisable table reminds me of learning chemistry back at school many years ago and I still find myself today learning from it even though the content is different.
I know many designers and design students are happy to see Helvetica as number 1 and comic sans is nowhere to be seen.
