I came across these glorious little drinks whilst exploring the corridors of the Festival of Marketing and I found them to not only be great tasting drinks (I recommend the Gingerella Ginger Ale), but to also be endowed with a wonderful suite of illustrations that accompany a compelling narrative.

Their brand story is built around the concept of Karma, as they believe in giving back to society: that is why the more Karma Cola they sell, the more they give back to the communities in Sierra Leone, who help to manufacture the products.

This use of authentic storytelling positions them as more than just another fizzy drinks brand, but an advocate for sustainability and a force for good! It gives them that all important point of difference against the big boys like Coca Cola and, well, I’m really rooting for them.
