We attended another inspirational ‘Nicer Tuesdays’ event recently, and as usual it left us energised and full of creative energy.

Opening with an introduction to her Argentinian design magazine was Kirsten Algera. Each issue of MacGuffin focuses on a solitary object, and is a platform for research, inspirational content and bizarre facts. Bex Day then talked us through her recent exhibition, Hen, which she describes as ‘an anthropological study on the fluidity of gender’. Following this was a talk by Accept & Proceed, who were tasked with designing an installation for NASA to convey data sent back from two satellites orbiting the Earth. The evening was closed by director Johnny Kelly. He recently directed four animations with Cheerios encouraging kids to be kinder to each other.

We’re looking forward to the next instalment from It’s Nice That!
