Creative Director

Underscore is a leading central London brand strategy and digital creative agency working with exciting start-ups and market leading brands from all over the world.

As a result of some exciting new account wins, we are seeking a talented Creative Director to lead our gifted and passionate creative team. If you are a Lead Creative looking to take your next step, or a Creative Director ready to take your career to the next level, this exciting role could be for you.

This is a multidimensional role, working across a number of creative projects for exciting brands. You will lead, direct and help develop world class design – overseeing the studio output from brand identity to wider communication and content strategies.

Day-to-day you will be driving ideas and concepts – working closely with clients and the wider creative team to develop and craft the creative process as a whole. Whilst you will have strong creative knowledge, your ability to manage a creative team to their optimum potential is the heart of this role. With concept generation and evolution of our team being your upmost responsibility, this is a role with great potential to cast the direction of our client work, as well as our design team.

This is a highly strategic role – with a major focus on direction: you will need to strategise, consult, motivate, lead and inspire. You will have a refined understanding and passion for brands, forming meaningful partnerships with our clients. We are looking for someone who can own and take full accountability for projects, managing all aspects of the creative process, from strategic exploration and analysis to overseeing a team, and ensuring that the strategic brief is fully explored and developed every time.

It’s a position where you really can make an impact and help push this agency in new directions – whilst being very well rewarded in the process. The successful applicant will be self-driven, highly organised and have an eye for detail.

You’ll be joining a highly accomplished team that buzzes with passion and ideas – inspired by our central Oxford Street location and a constant flow of new briefs from international clients, all fuelled by spontaneous team breakfasts, lunches and snacks on tap.

Up to £62k, depending on experience
Key requirements of the role:
  • Be able to work hands-on when needed across both print and digital projects, whilst happy managing and directing others
  • Concept generation and brief creation
  • Creative direction and management of designers
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity through efficiently conceptualising, planning, producing, refining and/ or leading a diverse range of creative ideas/ concepts, specialised graphic and/ or illustrative material for team consideration against the set strategic brief
  • Communicate effectively verbally as well as visually, presenting design rationale during internal/ external presentations/ critiques - engaging with internal senior level management and external clients
  • Take pride in delivering large-scale projects on time and on budget
You’ll need:
  • 8+ years agency experience within the design / branding sector
  • Strong communication skills
  • Meticulous eye for detail
  • Creative team management experience

Account Director

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Account Director who is at the top of their game, to drive some incredible projects and client accounts forward.

We are looking for someone who is commercial and strategic in their thinking with an ability to manage and grow high-level creative accounts. You will need to actively build client relationships and understand the accounts you are working on inside and out.

As an Account Director, you’ll be expected to champion agency culture and help to nurture both new and existing members of the team. We’re looking for someone who is an excellent communicator that can inspire our creative team, as well as our client services team to deliver best on class, award winning work.

You’ll be joining a highly accomplished team that buzzes with passion and ideas – fuelled by our Oxford Street location and a constant flow of new briefs, complemented by spontaneous lunches and snacks on tap.

Up to £54k, depending on experience
Key requirements of the role:
  • Project planning, brand articulation and delivery
  • Workshop ideation and creative strategising
  • Experience of working on brand strategy, brand identity and brand activation projects
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Stellar communication skills
  • Experience with client reporting and management
  • Ability to generate and manage a positive revenue stream
  • A champion of agency culture
  • Articulate presenter with winning pitch experience
  • Experience working across property and luxury clients desired

Account Manager

Key requirements of the role:

  • 3+ years’ experience within an integrated creative agency in a similar role
  • Excellent people leadership skills
  • Meticulous eye for detail
  • Great communication skills, with a flair for delivering engaging client presentations
  • A genuine desire to grow and develop the agency
