We do here at Underscore, and so does Brighton Palace Pier, which is why they have recently instructed us to create their second feature video for summer 2017.
The Pier has multiple target audiences ranging from Visiting Families to Young Adults to Locals. Our 2016 video followed a couple on their trip from London to Brighton, walking their journey through the city & spending a romantic day enjoying the rides, attractions and restaurants on the Pier.
In this year’s video, we wanted to target families and show the updates that have happened to the Pier – including new rides & eateries. To achieve this we spent the day on the pier with a family to show the sheer excitement a child feels when they step foot onto the wooden slats for the first time. By showing rides & attractions from the point of view of children we were able to create something that not only evokes joy from those who watch it but shows the vast opportunities & adventures that the pier has to offer.
