In more ways than one, the Warner Estate stand at BCSC ’07 was a sporting success. Strategic meetings were played out in the comfort of the Warner clubhouse, frivolities were exchanged across the 19th hole, and the pinnacle of retail property rivalry was laid down on the longest drive competition.
The golf themed stand was derived from the teamwork ethic evoked through the Ryder Cup, as a great team is more than just the sum of its parts. Similar to the environment Warner Estate operates in, golf requires knowledge of what lies ahead and demands an understanding of the changeable elements that can effect your game.
The split stand concept enabled us to create two very different environments, which allowed us to completely cater to the needs of the event. The clubhouse stand was designed to offer a cool, calm corner away from the BCSC madness. With ample seating, maximum storage for printed materials and a chimney breast housing the Warner Estate AV movie, the clubhouse resonated with all of the charm associated with ones favourite post-round retreat.
In contrast, the opposing stand was designed to draw attention, drive footfall and retain interested parties through a combination of computer generated interaction and the well-established enticement of ice-cold Champagne. The contemporary bar area and driving range proved to be a constant draw with a great level of interest and atmosphere throughout the event.
