Underscore has recently completed an overhaul of The Junction’s website, Thejunction-uk.com, which will grow to become the single biggest marketing tool for this specialist retail warehouse fund. As a leading company within their sector, it was important to create a website that communicated an up to date story at all times, and so we created a CMS driven back end that provides the capability to update all site content and communicate fast moving activity within their company.

There are multiple opportunities for contacting members of The Junction team through the site, thus greatly increasing the flow of communication between them and their customers, and the consumer-facing ParkLife area opens up a dialog between the retail parks and their customers, thereby providing an ‘added-value at no-cost’ service to The Junction’s park tenants.

Increasing traffic was a key objective for The Junction, and the site has been evolved from a Flash-built website to a highly-optimised HTML site, allowing the entire site to be fully indexed by Google. We have further supported this by registering it with Google Analytics, which allows us to track the behaviour of the user and make changes and alterations to the site based on the facts we are presented with.
